Power & utilities

Power plants, utilities, and industrial facilities run on drawings that cannot be wrong. A misplaced valve tag on a P&ID is a safety event. We convert legacy plant drawings — P&IDs, electrical schematics, ladder logic, instrumentation — into layered CAD with every tag and label preserved, drafted by hand and QA'd by a second reviewer.

01

Why accuracy matters more here

Industrial drawings carry operational metadata, not just geometry. Every valve, vessel, instrument, and line segment has a tag. Tags drive O&M procedures, spare-parts ordering, commissioning, and shutdown permits. Auto-trace tools silently drop tags or scramble text. We do not use them.

02

What we convert

  • Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
  • Ladder logic and PLC control diagrams
  • Plant general arrangement drawings
  • Equipment layouts and platform plans
  • Fire protection and safety-system drawings
  • Cable schedules and tray routing
03

Tag and text preservation

We draft every tag as editable text on a dedicated layer, not as annotation. This is how your CMMS import expects it and how your engineers want to search it. We verify every tag against the source scan in the overlay-comparison step of our QA process.
